I was wondering why my html image wont show up all it gives me is black X mark where the image is supposed to be on my explorer browser and same goes for chrome:(

Here's my code guys: <img src="img/bear.jpg alt="WELCOME IN SIR">

You win the forum for today with that title :star:

Oh I just thought of something that is annoying but happened to me. Try to just open your image on your computer. It might be that the image corrupted. Just something to check that might help.

Isn't an image a self contained tag? So it would be more like <img src="yourfilepath.png" alt="Something for screenreaders to know what they're looking for" />, right?

BTW, super cute title and picture.

Hello,

< img src="yourpicturename.format" >

Make sure it's in the same directory as the html file, otherwise you need to tell src in which directory you're picture is located at.

Yeah if it isn't working after that it would be something to do with your path. Maybe you might just want to try typing the file path into your browser the same way you look at the html page and the same way you have it written and see if you can get it to come up.

I just stopped by bc I like your profile pic

ROFL~ thanks
