20,377 PointsHere's some extra facts for the fun facts app
If you have finished or are in the process of finishing the fun facts app, then you might find these useful.
While playing with the app on my tablet, I noticed just how quickly you run out of new facts you haven't read yet. The result of this was deciding to add some (39) more facts.
If you would like to add some more fun facts (see what I did there?) to your fun facts app, then be sure to take a look at the following array:
String[] mFacts = {
"Ants stretch when they wake up in the morning.",
"Ostriches can run faster than horses.",
"Olympic gold medals are actually made mostly of silver.",
"It takes about 8 minutes for light from the Sun to reach Earth.",
"You are born with 300 bones; by the time you are an adult you will have 206.",
"Some bamboo plants can grow almost a meter in just one day.",
"The state of Florida is bigger than England.",
"Some penguins can leap 2-3 meters out of the water.",
"On average, it takes 66 days to form a new habit.",
"Mammoths still walked the earth when the Great Pyramid was being built.",
"If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.",
"Butterflies taste with their feet",
"Happy Meals make up 40% of McDonald's profits",
"50% of bank robberies happen on a friday",
"A comic containing Superman's debut appearance has sold for $3.2 million at auction. It originally sold for 10 cents in 1938.",
"On average, long distance runners live 5.7 years longer than non athletes",
"Nike is named after the Greek goddess of strength, speed, and victory",
"The most popular pin code is 1234. The 5th most popular is 7777",
"Gorillas sleep as much as fourteen hours per day",
"Cats sleep up to eighteen hours a day, but never quite as deep as humans.",
"Money isn't made out of paper; it's made out of cotton",
"Ketchup was sold as a medicine in the 1980s",
"Worms actually taste like fried bacon",
"A cockroach can live several weeks without its head",
"It’s against the law to have a pet dog in Iceland",
"Fingernails grow nearly 4 times faster than toenails",
"Coca-Cola would be green if colouring wasn't added to it",
"Slugs have four noses",
"Human blood is 83% water",
"The Android mascot is a redesigned character from \"Gauntlet: The Third Encounter\"",
"Right handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people",
"Every minute, 30-40,000 dead skin cells fall from your body",
"Most people blink about 17,000 times a day",
"Giraffes are unable to cough",
"On average, Elephants sleep for about 2 hours per day.",
"A mosquito has 47 teeth",
"Hitler was intending to use Oxford as his capital if he conquered England which is one of the reasons it was not bombed",
"Nutella uses 25% of the world's supply of hazelnuts",
"IKEA stores are designed like mazes in order to trick customers into buying more while they find the exit",
"Bill Gate's house was partly designed on a Mac",
"Pineapples are not single fruits, but a group of berries that have fused together",
"Nokia was once a manufacturer of toilet paper",
"Apple was partly named Apple to come before Atari in the phone book",
"A man once robbed a bank of $1 and waited for the police, so that he could get free healthcare in prison",
"Extremely high doses of caffeine can cause you to hear imaginary voices and hallucinate",
"The colour orange was named after the fruit",
"British police officers carry a teddy bear in their cars to comfort children after an accident",
"During sleep, the human brain is more active than during the day",
"Dark chocolate reduces blood pressure"
};
Also, if anyone is wondering how I installed the app on my tablet, I simply took the .apk (the file used to install android apps, the android equivalent of .exe or .dmg) from "FunFacts/app/build/outputs/apk/app-debug-unaligned.apk", loaded it onto my tablet and installed the app through that.

20,377 PointsAhah I had a fact after that saying "This app was developed by Ben Watkins by following a course on Treehouse". I must have removed it for this and forgot about the comma.
Thanks for reminding me and you're welcome :)
