Hey yall. Just wanted to take a chance to introduce myself. I finally bought myself a new laptop today and immediately installed ubuntu and created a Treehouse account. I'm so excited to learn and hopefully meet some people through these forums.

Treehouse TeacherI think that if that is where your interest lies, go for it! There are lots of us out there that understand the principles of design/front-end development but are more comfortable, or just like it better, doing back-end dev work. Certainly important to have a good grasp on both worlds, in my opinion.
