Courses Plus Student 13,560 PointsHey sami,
I will assume that we will never get that on treehouse because it's more game oriented as apposed to over all programming. if you want to learn actionScript you can probably google some tutorials which should be pretty good.
Happy hacking, Kai.

4,005 PointsThanks for your reply Kai, yeah most as3 tutorials out there are so different from each other its pretty hard to learn what is the best way to program.
So what does treehouse actually base their courses and workshop choices on ? I know its totally off topic , it just came to mind.
thanks, Sami

Courses Plus Student 13,560 PointsWell from what I've seen it's a lot less game oriented (in fact they have only one tutorial on sprit kit) which i think is good because it's a lot more overall programming based as apposed to something like flash games which are very graphic reliant and you need to be able to think in terms of a game (ie. game loops and AI) which you can spend years of university to learn and can take a large team and time to make a good one. but none the less you can still learn to build flash games, as you said the tutorials will probably vary depending on the provider but if you want to learn to make iPhone games you can definitely learn objective-C and graphics from treehouse and a little googling but you should be able to build iPhone (and android) games in no time here at treehouse.
Happy Hacking, Kai
