Hi everyone,

Hi can somebody help me with this challenge task in build a simple Android App. I have to add a button in the text and I have but its tells me 'don't forget to add the button'. What am I doing wrong?

activity_main.xml
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
  android:layout_width="match_parent"
  android:layout_height="match_parent" >

  <TextView
    android:layout_width="wrap_content"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content" />

</RelativeLayout>

<Button
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:text="Show another fun fact"
        android:id="@+id/button"
        android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
        android:layout_centerHorizontal="true" >
</Button>

You are so close! You have to have the button inside the relative layout. You put it outside. Try this:

<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
  android:layout_width="match_parent"
  android:layout_height="match_parent" >

  <TextView
    android:layout_width="wrap_content"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content" />

  <Button
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:text="Show another fun fact"
        android:id="@+id/button"
        android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
        android:layout_centerHorizontal="true" />

</RelativeLayout>

Besides having the Button outside of the RelativeLayout, you must also remember that it has a self-closing tag (ie it ends with />).
