Hi everyone just looking for a few suggestions here.

How can I add a forum and/or chat rooms to a website? Thank in advance for your responses!

What type of website is it? bb pres is widely used and buddypress if wordpress will give you a "facebook feel"

BBpress for WordPress: http://bbpress.org/. PHPBB if you are after a free option: https://www.phpbb.com/. Vbulletin if you if are wanting something a little more advanced but is a paid option: http://www.vbulletin.com/.

I have experience with the 3 above and my favorite is Vbulletin. However there are a range of other options. MYBB Vanilla Xenforo SimpleMachines
