Hi! I cant figure out what is wrong with my function. def hello_student(name): print("Hello", name)

def hello_student(name): print("Hello", name)

creating_functions.py 
def hello_student(name):
    print("Hello", name)

The challenge is asking you to return a string, rather than to print it. I hope that helps!

Still cant return it right.

def hello_student(name): return "Hello", name

It returns: 'Hello' 'Carlos'

Try concatenating with + (and note the space after Hello)

def hello_student(name):
    return "Hello " + name
