Even when I click cmd + R, there are none of my changes that appear in preview

You need to always refresh. CTRL R.
However, Workspace is sometimes hanging. I complained about it in my feedback.

818 PointsI am currently using a Mac but even when I click multiple time on refresh nothing changes is it a normal issue ?

You need to first save the .html file or .php file by doing CTRL S for windows or CMD S for Mac.
Then you click on the top right "EYE" once you get the preview browser. click on CMD S to get a refresh.
Just be patient with it. sometimes, Workspace hangs. Just close the workspace and launch it again once or twice. I'm sure it will work for you.

5,312 PointsI'm having a lot of trouble with this as well. I tried contacting Treehouse and they were very dismissive. They referred to it as syntax or coding confusion on my part and insisted that I deal with it through community discussion. It's frustrating because you can't tell if you are coding correctly when your programs don't run.
