Hi I'm still new to programming but I want to learn C++.

What would be the best course to take on here before learning C++ or something close to it?

Unfortunately Treehouse doesn't have any C++ lessons yet. If you have never programmed before I would look at PHP or Javascript since they will give you a good grounding in coding before you tackle something larger like C++. The closest things on Treehouse would be the Android and IOS projects, since they use similar languages to C++ that you could then apply later as well. I've been using the videos at thenewboston.org to start working on some of the languages not available here, in particular C# and Python. While it is not as interactive as Treehouse, it can help you get started if you are willing to go the extra mile and work on your own projects.
