Hi! Why cant I use altgr in the console. It is making writing into the shell really hard.

What do you mean by "altgr" in the shell? I don't know what you're talking about... :)

Can you explain please? Thank you!

Hi! I'm using a hungarian keyboard, so when I want to use [ or { I have to press altgr and a nother letter. Wich is unfortunatly not working in the console. So I have to swich between a hungarian and a uk keyboard layout everytime I want to write a special character.

Aha! Found an answer. Instead of trying to use AltGr, try pressing Alt (not AltGr!) and Ctrl at the same time.

Thanks a lot!

I recommend only using a UK (or even better an English) keyboard when programming, since the characters might be strange to some programming languages.

I know. I dont use Γ©, Γ‘ ΓΊ and letters like this. But using just a engllish keyboard would be hard for me because I learned how to type while not watching the keyboard on a hungarian keyboard. So my muscle memory always presses y whan I want to type a z.
