How am i wrong?

I answered pop() and the error I get says "The pop( ) method returns the last item of an array and removes it from the array. "

I believe the question you are referring to asks "Which array method returns the first item from an array and removes it from the array?".

"pop()" is incorrect because it returns the last item instead.

With that in mind, I'll bet you can get it now.

Steven is right, if you were looking to return and remove the first item in an array, the method to use is "shift()".
