How are the rings at 08:03 selected all at once?

I don't know how to select all of the rings at the same time.

Command-G groups multiple selected objects, Shift - Command - G ungroups multiple selected objects.

( on PC, Control - G / Shift - Control - G)

I needed to ungroup the objects and hold the shift key whilst selecting each object.

You didn't pay attention to the last videos that much. He groupped in the last videos the 'icon' layer 3 times, first the solid ones, then the rings and then all at once. When he ungroupped the 'all at once' group the rings are selectable now at once. (I know 5 monhts late reply)
