How can i can i convert String to Double?

struct money { var dinero="" }

var peso=[money()]

func addMoney(dinero:String){ peso.append(money(dinero: dinero))

}

information.addMoney(prize.text)

you can cast the string to an NSString and call the doubleValue on that. 

let myDouble = Double(("123.54" as NSString).doubleValue)
