Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Improving Our Code Adding an App Icon

how can i change the app name as it is displayed on the device under the apps icon?

i want to change the FUN FACTS label for the icon

Never mind I found it you go to res/values/strings.xml <string name="app_name">Fun Facts</string> thanks anyways.

You can also use the AndroidManifest.xml file as well. I do believe that using the AndroidManifest.xml file is easier and faster than the strings.xml file.
