Theorically the easiest way to do so is to right-click in the left column and click on something such as "new file".

You can't actually post an photo in the forum in the sense of just posting a file. You will need to use a 3rd party hosting site like Imgur (There are many others out there, so you can choose which one you like). Then using Markdown, you include the url of your hosted image.
