How can I create an horizontal menu with borders?

I want to create an horizontal menu with border between each menu item, and the menu align with the logo. The menu items height shold be the same as the header height. Should I use floats or display?

I want to create a menu like UDEMY.

I took a peek at the udemy sight. At first glance it looks like the logo is probably in a div and that div floated left, and the menu items could be in a div and that div floated right: As far as using float, or inline block display...what are you comfortable with? Try them both..Experiment. Did you get to flex box yet? there's always lots of ways to do things. Have fun and see what you come up with :D

Display: inline; border-right: 1px solid black;
