How can I find a Javascript Related Job ?

I am learning Javascript here on treehouse. I see that most of the students who learned Javascript have Jobs. I just want to know is it okay If I apply for a job while learning? I am pretty good at HTML, CSS, JavaScript + PHP. But I don't have many portfolios with me and projects that I have done myself. I am like 2 hours away from Completing full stack Javascript course. Any suggestions?
