I'm not sure how to exit JShell, but these ways might work:

  • Typing .exit
  • Pressing Ctrl and D at the same time (On both Mac and Windows)
  • Pressing Ctrl and Z at the same time (on both mac and windows)
  • Pressing Ctrl and C at the same time (on both mac and windows)

Any of these could work, so try them all!

If none work, I'll tag Craig Dennis for you :)

thanks, Ctrl+Z worked, Ctrl + C/D did not. I think they should provide a cheat sheet for such tiny problems!
