Python Python Basics (2015) Number Game App Even or Odd

how can I write a function that takes a single arguement which is a number and returns true if the number is even

and false if the number is wrong

even.py
def even_odd():
    secret_number=random.randit()
    if secret_number % 2 == 0
        print(True)
    else:
        print(False)

You were very close. You dont need to print true or false, rather return true or false.

def even_odd(num):
    if num % 2 == 0:
        return True
    else:
        return False
