How can you create a solid 2 line & color Top border in CSS in the body.

I am trying to make a solid double lined top border with two colours with no gap in-between in the body tag on CSS. Has anyone got a suggestion to do this in CSS.

Thanks

James

Use the CSS3 ::before pseudo-selector:

body {
  position: relative;
  border-top: solid 10px red;
}

body:before {
  content: "";

  position: absolute;
  width: 100%;
  top: 0;

  border-top: solid 10px blue;
}

Check out this demo, tested in: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and IE 8 (and above).

@James Hollingworth,

It depends on what you're trying to do, but at the very least, you can do something like this.
