How common is Libsass, do a lot of companies use libsass, would it be wise to..

Would it be smart to pick it up, is it uncommon to use libsass?

Seth,

Languages, frameworks, and tools are constantly changing and you'll find that every month there seems to be something new and shiny that you should be using. A good rule of thumb is to be comfortable with programming/development in general and spend some time picking the right tools/frameworks/languages for the project that you're trying to tackle. As long as you accomplish your goals and meet your requirements and your users are happy...I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Having said that, my friends at Sprout Social are big fans and explain some of the advantages in the blogpost below.
