151 PointsHow do I abandon a course?
I can't figure out how to abandon a course I signed up for. Does TH really not give people this option? That would be incredibly inconvenient. What's happening?
I started Illustrator Foundations a week ago but I have since switched to Adobe Illustrator for Web Design that was released a few days ago. I have no intentions of continuing Illustrator Foundations because the newer course is exactly what I want.

There really isn't a sense of "abandoning" a course, just as there really isn't a way to "enroll" in a course because you can always go back in and look around. As you start to move through your new course material your "Next Steps" will change to that course, you don't have to abandon anything, you can just stop taking the old one and move on to the new one.

16,510 PointsHi Nick,
Do you mean that you want to stop the 'Illustrator Foundations' course from appearing in the 'In Progress' section of your Home page?
I believe that type of functionality was removed about 9 months ago: Improvements to Home
Let's ask Kyle Meyer if there is an update on that :-)

That's a poor improvement.

I disagree because it will still be stuck in my In Progress section.

16,510 PointsI've got a number of courses now stuck in my 'In Progress' section as well. I've dropped an e-mail to the support team to ask them for an update, as 8 months ago there was some talk of being able to remove progress from a course but I haven't seen that yet.
When I get a response I'll add an update here.

16,510 PointsI've heard back from support:
"Currently, there isn't an option to remove a course from the In Progress section but we are working on redesigning the Home page to allow this feature. We have received a lot of feedback about this from other students as well and agree this is something that should be an option :) We have made sure to also pass along your feedback to our developers and we will be sure to send out an announcement when this goes live!"
That's all I can do for the moment, but it does sound as if they are aware of the issue. I hope you are enjoying the new Adobe Illustrator for Web Design course.

Courses Plus Student 5,581 PointsAny updates about this? Because I still cannot abandon a course, and while I don't mind it being in the "Progress" list, I really hate the fact that it continues to remind me of the next steps per email. This while I am doing other courses and tracks, it keeps reminding me to continue React.
