How do I add a String field (member variable) named mTitle and make it public?

I keep getting syntax errors after adjusting my code? Please check my code and advise on what best to do. Thank you.

There's a difference in a single string (String) and an array of strings (String[]). To add a public string field you'd type:

public String variableName;
