how do i call the hello_student() function and save the return value in a variable called hello

I think i have already called it, but i dont know what i'm supposed to do in terms of saving the returned value, i'm honestly not even really sure what that means.

creating_functions.py 
def hello_student(name):
    val = ("Hello Ashley")
    return val 

hello_student("Ashley")

When you call the hello-student function, the val is returned. You can save this val in the variable hello by simply saying hello = hello_student("name")
