How do I check a variable and pop an alert

I am not sure what is going wrong with my code.

const answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');

if (answer === 'JavaScript') {
  return alert('You are correct')
}

You can't use the keyword "return" here — it can only be used inside a function.

But "alert" don't pass any value back anyway.

you'll need to remove the return from the if statement.
