How do I complete the 2nd task in creating setter code challenge?

I'm totally lost trying to figure out the 2nd part of this code challenge. What does "invalid left-hand side in assignment" mean? How do I get this code to do what it's supposed to?

creating_setters.js
class Student {
    constructor(gpa, credits){
        this.gpa = gpa;
        this.credits = credits;
    }

    stringGPA() {
        return this.gpa.toString();
    }

    get level() {
        if (this.credits > 90 ) {
            return 'Senior';
        } else if (this.credits > 60) {
            return 'Junior';
        } else if (this.credits > 30) {
            return 'Sophomore';
        } else {
            return 'Freshman';
        }
    }

    get major() {
        if (level = 'Senior' || level = 'Junior') {
            major = this._major;
        } else {
            major = 'none';
        }
    }

    set major(major) {
        this._major = major;
    }

}

var student = new Student(3.9, 60);

get major() {
        if (level = 'Senior' || level = 'Junior') { // this is trying to assign to level. you need a comparison operator (===)
            major = this._major;
        } else {
            major = 'none';
        }
    }
