How do I create a variable that has a list

How do I Create a variable named full_name that holds your full name. Make another variable named name_list that holds your full name as a list, split on the spaces. Don't create name_list manually!

greeting_list.py
full_name = "Derek Gannon"
name_list = list(full_name)

There's a method on strings called split. You can call this on full_name with no arguments passed in since splitting on white space is the default, and you'll get your list.
