How do I create these type of graphics like platform_1 and platform_2? Which software to use?

I you have the Adobe products (Illustrator would be ideal for this, but Photoshop would also do) that would be a great choice.

If you need a free option, there's Gimp. And if you're using Windows, even the simple "paint" program that comes with it could be used.
