How do I create this layout effect?

Hi Treehouse,

How do I get this layout effect with the banner? It's super popular nowadays:

It's like having a banner that scrolls slower than the body, creates a really nice aesthetic

It's called a parallax effect. There are a few plugins out there that can do this, one of them being here: http://materializecss.com/parallax.html

It is a pretty sweet effect.
