How do I end a java program running in the console?

Once I start a java program in the console on workspaces, how can I end it? What do I type? I am experimenting with the Hangman game in "Determining if it is Solved", and I can't stop the game once I have started it.

I don't remember the shortcut well, I think it's either

  • Control + d or Control + c on Windows
  • Command + d or Command + d on a Mac.

control + d on my Mac worked. Thanks!

I tried "Hide Console" and then "Show Console" from the "View" menu, and that did it!
