JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Storing and Tracking Information with Variables Capturing Visitor Input

How do i fix this problem: If i type the code just like in this video, it shows on the alert dialog box "null"

Please tell me how do i fix this problem. My code is: var guysName = prompt('What is your name?'); alert(guysName);

If you have a solution, please awnser this.

When the prompt box appears, if you type in a name and click the "OK" button, you should see that name in the alert box.

:point_right: But if you click the "Cancel" button instead, it will show "null" because that's what the "prompt" function returns.
