How do I know when I'm on or off track as per Treehouse's progress tracker?

When I log in it says 20 days remaining, 143 minutes per day(too ambitious? maybe.). How do I know if I've achieved that? Obviously I could just time myself, but I feel they're using another metric. My only guess is that if I log into tomorrow and it says 143 minutes again then that's good. Right?

It's just an estimated guide to help you organise your time. You can set your target and its a goal to work towards rather than something set in stone by Treehouse.
