How do I link an HTML page to a CSS page?

I did <link rel="Stylesheet" href="css/main.css">. But nothing happened when is did, body {background-color: orange;}

You actually need to link the external CSS script to your HTML file.

You do this by writing the link into your HTML head section like this:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="name_of_your_css_file.css">
