How do I make a nested ordered list within my unordered list?

I have tried it all and need to know ASAP! I can't seem to figure it out.

You're very close. You just need to move the ending list item tag to contain the entire nested list:

<li>Shapes <!-- move the closing tag that was here -->
</li> <!-- put it here, AFTER the nested list -->
