// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console String firstName = "Boy"; console.printf ("%s can code in Java!%n", firstName);

71,814 PointsRay, the editor's Bummer was misleading. But there were two problems. You don't need the %n, and you had a space after printf that the editor didn't like. It was interesting because Preview showed the requested String without any errors! The challenge editor can be picky.
String firstName = "Boy";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);
