how do I make two strings equal each other in an if statement?

I need to make two strings equal each other in this if statement

// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console. 
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
if(firstExample.eqauls("hello")) && (secondExample.equals("hello")){
  console.printf("first is equal to second");

}

Checking if their equal, you could try instead of the AND operator use the == double equal
