How do I map Spring Date field on Thymleaf templates or any html form

I have a model class with a date field , I want to map it with a form field to input date from user and store it in model class. I am not able to do that

Could you push your project on GitHub, so that I can solve problem for your particular case?

It will be hard to provide generic example, and it may not fit your project ...

If you haven't set up your GitHub account it is perfect time to do it ...

And after that project can be easily shared from intellijidea:

It should be straightforward if you are using Spring with Hibernate, but again without seeing concrete errors from your, and your files, it is almost impossible to help :)

So push a link of your GitHub project with errors that you encounter, can try to help only then ...
