How do i open a video i just recorded in a new view controller instantly for editing.

Hey,

So I am creating an app where you take a video, grab one of the frames from the video and add a filter to it. The way i want to do it is 1. record the video, 2. instantly go to the view controller where the user can select a frame and add a filter to it.

Right now, i have the camera working, and i can save to the photogallery, and i can retrieve videos. Am not sure how to instantly open the view controller for editing right after recording my video. May someone please direct me in the correct path?

I am using UIImagePickerController() for recording, saving, and retrieving media.
