What would be the best way to practice my new learned skills? Any recommendations of what has helped any of you in the past.

22,560 PointsJonas is spot on. The best way to re-enforce your new skills is to use them by creating something. A few things you could make are a resume for yourself, a static webpage about you, and even the start of a blog. Once you've made something I recommend learning css and then styling whatever you chose to make.
