How do I put my logo as the main header instead of text?

http://vincestaffieri.com/

Hey guys,

I have my portfolio site up and running and I wanted to find out how to put a logo in where the header is (the h1)? I tried to do it myself but the whole nav bar got bigger and when I shrunk the page to mobile size the navbar was under the logo. It was all messed up and I'm not sure what went wrong.

And also I'm still a novice in Web Development and just recently started picking it back up again this past month so I'm really trying to get an entry level job. I know my portfolio is pretty terrible right now but I wanted some feedback on how my website looks.

I do appreciate constructive criticism as I take this very seriously and I want a career as a web developer.

Thanks,

Vince

Did you intend to provide a link to your site?

Oops... I totally mean't to. Sorry about that.

It looks good now.

It seems to scale down nicely and look good in a larger size too. Do you still have any issues with it?

Thanks Steven,

Yeah the responsiveness of the site is good I just wanted to know how to put a logo that has my name in it as the main-header. So I would delete the h1 text and supplement a logo where that h1 would be. I feel like that just looks more professional but I have trouble doing it without the header (the turquoise block) acting crazy. For example when I tried to put my vector logo on the site the header margin was all over the place and when I scaled it down to mobile, the header took up 25% of the screen.

Perhaps it would help if you put up another page that illustrates the problem. Offhand, I would expect dealing with the logo would be similar to what you do with the photograph in the profile.
