how do i quick compile example: clear && .. what keyboard shortcut do i use to keep from always typing the whole thing

.

If you have entered a command at the command line and want to repeat it again or another previous one just hit the up arrow key to toggle between the previous commands; you can also hit the down one if you go past one.

You can do:

javac SomeProgram.java && java SomeProgram

This should compile and run the code in one line.
