Development Tools Git Basics Getting Started With Git Repository Basics

How do I remove a repository I created with "git init" without deleting everything else

I tried rm git, git rm, remove git, and git remove and none of them worked. What do I need to change?

1 Answer

Git keeps all of its files in the .git directory. Just remove that one.
