How do I reset my simulator / revert changes?

At the FunFacts app, after adding this line to the AppDelegates file, to make the top bar white, the simulator turns black every time I try to run the app.

application.setStatusBarStyle(UIStatusBarStyle.LightContent, animated: false)

Now, even if I comment it out and remove that property we added in the info tab on the project, the sim is still black.

How can I revert to the previous version of the app, the one that worked?

Hello Paul.

I do not think you can get back to a functioning version unless you have previously saved it as a different file.

One thing you could do is try to see if you have a downloadable project file included. The downloads are generally located under the video section on the same page of the video. This would give you a functioning app at least that you can check your own code against.

Thanks for your reply. I'm pretty bummed out that you can't do anything about this issue. After some digging through this forum I saw that a lot of people have encountered the same issue and found no solution.

I don't think I've had this issue, but maybe if you try picking a different device in the simulator, it'll give you the results you're looking for?

I'd also suggest changing the status bar style in the General section under the project in Targets.

Another option is to try setting the status bar style in ViewWillAppear of your main VC.
