How do I save the progress I have made in Workspace?

Each time I close Treehouse, I lose any progress that I have made.

Hi Dave,

If you look at the file you are working on in your workspace e.g. index.html you will see a small red dot just to the right of where it says index.html on the tab at the top left of the page. This means the work you are doing has not been saved.

At anytime during the writing of your code you can use the keyboard shortcut CMD S (on a Mac) or CTRL S (On a Windows pc) to save your work and the red dot will disappear.

Or you can click FILE then SAVE in the menu bar on your workspace.

Hope this helps.

Hi Wayne and thank you for answering. My problem is that so far I have not seen a small red dot, and I do know where to look. I have also used the File tab and clicked save. After closing the Workspace, I still seem to lose the forward progress I have made.

Have you tried making another workspace to see if you get the same problem?

Yes, sorry that I forget exactly, but at least three others. Is there a chance that using Google Chrome is the problem.

I doubt that is the problem, at least it shouldn't be.

You could try another browser, but even if that solves the problem I would contact Treehouse support and explain to them the issue you are having.
