Hey Roselyn,

You got the first Task Correct :thumbsup:

The second task is the same thing. First, remember, while CSS and HTML work very closely together, the CSS file doesn't understand HTML tags, as you have place for the paragraph.

So, with that in mind, and looking back at Task one, Task two wants you to select the paragraph tags (same way as the h1, h2, etc.) and change to black. So, you don't need the body selector, you want the p.

p {
  color: #000;
}

Keep Coding! :dizzy:

Thanks for breaking it down. I think I was on auto pilot during this section. Your answer was helpful

Hi there! It seems you've gotten CSS and HTML a little confused here. In your CSS you've written this:

body {
  <p>color: #000;<p/>
}

What you should try writing is this:

p {
   color: #000;
}

The CSS I gave selects the the paragraph element and adds the hexadecimal color of black. You should probably reset the body to whatever it was originally. Angle brackets aren't used in CSS ... only HTML. Happy coding!

Thank you!!

not quite right. thats HTML markup in CSS. you beed to change body to the p selector

```h1, h2 { color: #fff; }
p { color: #000; }```
Thanks
