How do I stop the text area's width from stretching beyond the form element?

I want to be able to resize the text area, but I don't want it to stretch beyond it's parent element, which is a form element. How do I stop this from happening?

Hi Eric, you can limit the size of the textarea:

textarea {
  max-width: 300px;
  max-height: 300px;
}
