Is there a way I can test my app on a real android device? If so how?

You can check this out on how to Run on a real device.

I have the aquos that just came out. What driver would I need?

What is aquos?

Its the cell phone I have. Sharp is who makes it. I do not know what to download. It will not appear in my IDE

I'll assume you have the crystal version which is the last one. You can try this sharp USB driver which is compatible with it.

Ok I am getting closer. I downloaded the package that was there and extracted it. But android studios is still not detecting this phone.

Its the Aquos crystal made by sharp and when I click on it it says To "download the USB driver for your product, click here." So I do and it gives a whole list of options.

You have to install the driver you downloaded in your computer/laptop for it to work. You can fin the directions for it here and another tutorial of it here. Make sure you give the path of the pack you have unzipped and if you follow the last tutorial, follow it from step 7.

I have a windows 8 and I do not see that option for the first insturction

Hey Gloria, thanks for taking the time to help me out. I know this isn't the first question you have helped me out with so I just wanted to say thanks.

You are welcome :). Since you have windows 8 you can follow Microsoft instructions -Installing drivers yourself or check out this directions from Intel on manually [installing Intel drivers](http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm] (the process will probably be the same for the sharp drivers just choose its directory/pack).

Ah, I still couldn't do the first one. Intel's website is down so I am unable to do that option right now.

You can check this video from min 4:20, just make sure you select the sharp driver.

Ok, I am at the device manager window..where would I select sharp driver?

The sharp driver is the file you downloaded and extracted. That is the one you select when you browse for the driver file.
