617 PointsI have the aquos that just came out. What driver would I need?
Gloria Dwomoh
13,116 PointsWhat is aquos?
Kevin Nguyen
617 PointsIts the cell phone I have. Sharp is who makes it. I do not know what to download. It will not appear in my IDE

13,116 PointsI'll assume you have the crystal version which is the last one. You can try this sharp USB driver which is compatible with it.

617 PointsOk I am getting closer. I downloaded the package that was there and extracted it. But android studios is still not detecting this phone.
Kevin Nguyen
617 PointsIts the Aquos crystal made by sharp and when I click on it it says To "download the USB driver for your product, click here." So I do and it gives a whole list of options.

617 PointsHey Gloria, thanks for taking the time to help me out. I know this isn't the first question you have helped me out with so I just wanted to say thanks.

13,116 PointsYou are welcome :). Since you have windows 8 you can follow Microsoft instructions -Installing drivers yourself or check out this directions from Intel on manually [installing Intel drivers](http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm] (the process will probably be the same for the sharp drivers just choose its directory/pack).
Kevin Nguyen
617 PointsAh, I still couldn't do the first one. Intel's website is down so I am unable to do that option right now.
Gloria Dwomoh
13,116 PointsYou can check this video from min 4:20, just make sure you select the sharp driver.
Kevin Nguyen
617 PointsOk, I am at the device manager window..where would I select sharp driver?
Gloria Dwomoh
13,116 PointsThe sharp driver is the file you downloaded and extracted. That is the one you select when you browse for the driver file.
