how do I type front slash on windows laptop?

How do I type front slash - / this backwards - on windows laptop?

sorry wrong question. how do I type back slash? the only one on my keyboard is / .

Keyboards, especially laptop keyboards tend to have different arrangements for their front and back slash keys, but you should have both on your keyboard. On mine, the front slash (/) is usually located down bellow the " key next to the shift key and the backslash () is usually located just above the enter key. Hope that helps answer your question.

It's likely below or near your delete key in the top right. Most computers have them separated as the / is used way more often than .

Thank you, Dustin Matlock ! I somehow missed that there were both answers and comments to questions. I will look out for where I post in the future.

Use ASCII Code to find any character that you are looking for, for example if you want a forward slash ( / ) use Alt + 47, if you are looking for a back slash ( \ ) use Alt + 92. It is easy you just have to keep press Alt key and on the numeric key hit the number, then stop pressing Alt key. If you do not know many of the ASCII Code or if you do not want to memorize all or some of them, here I gave you a link when you can find the number that you have to hit when you want to generate a special character that you cannot fine in your keyboard or if you are using a keyboard that is in different language, such as Spanish.

I hope this can help you.

A common location for backslash "\" on a traditional PC keyboard is on the same key as pipe "|". It may be near your [Delete] key on the right-hand side of the keyboard. What model is your laptop?

Should be right under the Backspace key and should have the symbols "|" and "\"
