How do I use else block for "does not equal"?

cannot get else if block to work and it keeps telling me to check that $studentOneGPA is equal to 4.0 when it is.

index.php
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment
if ($studentTwoGPA = 4.0)
echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll."
  elseif ($student

?>

Hey Luke - Check your equality operator (==) for $studentTwoGPA.

Cheers,

Ben

Pay attentions to "=" and "==":

$test = 2;

var_dump($test = 2);
var_dump($test == 2);

OUTPUT:
int(2)
bool(true)
if ($studentTwoGPA == 4.0) {
   echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll.";
else {
    echo "the student does NOT have 4.0";
}
