how do I use the format function

str.format

name.py 
name = "Louis"
treehouse = "Tree" + "house"
email_greeting = ("{} loves {}",str.format(name, treehouse))

Hi Louis,

You just need to get rid of the ",str" you have in front of format. Like so:

name = 'Louis' treehouse = 'Tree' + 'house' email_greeting = '{} loves {}'.format(name,treehouse) print(email_greeting)
